Since 2016, a plant for the production of pipes with a gas-tight threaded connection of the premium class of Kazakhstan Pipe Threaders LLP (Tenaris) has been operating on the territory of the SEZ "Seaport Aktau", with a total investment of more than 16 billion tenge.

In February 2023, the FEZ Participant carried out the first export of pipes in the amount of 90 tons cut on the territory of the FEZ to the city of Tananger (Norway). The export products are casing steel seamless pipes, steel grade TN 90SS, with 3SB connection, outer diameter 139.7 mm (5-1/2”), pipe length R3 in the volume of 2340 meters.
